“The reason women are turning you down for casual sex seems to be that, for one thing, a lot of you are calling them sluts afterward. Also, a lot of you aren’t bothering to try to be good in bed.”

Terri Conley, professor of psychology and women’s studies at the University of Michigan ( link )

Terri Conley has done an incredibly thorough debunking of the 1989 Hatfield study claiming that women don’t like casual sex.

AMEN! Dudes stay bitching about how women make them go through an obstacle course, standardized tests and a credit check to get some pussy, but then shit all over and dog out the chicks who give it to ‘em easy. And WOMEN are allegedly the “illogical” ones.

WELP!

Straight up told yo asses. Get yo stroke game up and stop this bullshit about women who have sex.

The RSPCA is an organisation that apparently advocates on the behalf all animals.Their motto is “for all creatures great and small”.When this organisation refers to “all”, they generally mean dogs and cats.Every other animal ends up in the trash pile.As you can see, an RSPCA fundraiser is under way to make money - By eating (and don’t forget SELLING for PROFIT) the carcasses and LIVES of the very animals they claim to speak for.Do you support this atrocity? Are you disconnected?

Disgusting.

I see hypocrisy.

“There’s no point to a guy yelling, “Hey sexy baby” at me out of the passenger window of a car as it speeds past. Even if I was into creepy misogynists and wanted to give him my number, I couldn’t. The car didn’t even slow down. But that’s okay, because he wasn’t actually hitting on me. The point wasn’t to proposition me or chat me up. The only point was to remind me, and all women, that our bodies are his to stare at, assess, comment on, even touch. “Hey sexy baby” is the first part of a sentence that finishes, “this is your daily message from the patriarchy, reminding you that your body is public property”.”

“Most mass murderers do not go from zero to 60. Rodger made escalating assaults on women (splashing coffee on them, attempting to shove them off a ledge) before his killing spree. Both Cho and Justin-Jinich’s murderer harassed women before they killed anyone. When such acts go unnoticed and unpunished — because we expect men to harass women, and it’s not outrageous or even noteworthy when they do — they can become stepping-stones to more conspicuous and less socially acceptable acts of violence.”

Raina Lipsitz

Interesting to note that while a history of animal cruelty is widely accepted to be a link with becoming a serial killer, the link between cruelty towards women and killing women is still up for debate. If a guy abuses a cat and then shoots women we say "we should have seen it coming that guy was nuts", but if abuses women and then shoots women we say "we had no way of seeing it coming that guy was a perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human

I was driving past a business here in the Houston Heights, when I glimpsed this painted on the side of the building. I recognized that iconic WWII poster before I realized it was not just any woman, but 14 year old Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who was attacked for wanting an education. The words next to her are her quote, ( “I don’t mind if I have to sit on the floor at school.) All I want is education. And I’m afraid of no one.”

This is gorgeous.

Seriously - this girl was betrayed and humiliated by someone she thought she could trust, had her personal life and sex life spread all over the internet, and rebounded to become one of the most famous people in our culture right now. You might say that Kim K and the kardashians are “famous for nothing”, but you have to have some respect for a woman who completely turned that situation on its head and rewrote the script to prioritize her own agency. Our culture doesn’t allow that for too many women, so let’s not forget how impressive that is.

literally what i tell everyone about kim k!
